Big Y Fly Olympia 8wt 11ft Switch Rod/Reel Combo, w/ Extra Spool, 2 types of Spey/Nymphing lines loaded, Heavy and Medium MOW sink tip lines. Lightly used a handful of times. Can't afford to keep flying out to the OP to fish steelhead. I mostly fish trout in Colorado, and I'm brand new to steelheading.
After a couple guided trips for winter steelhead in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, this was the setup recommended to me by Big Y Fly when I described the type of fishing I was hoping to do on my own. 9/10 wt Reel loaded w/ lime green Mono and Rio Skagit shooting head for spey-casting. Spare spool loaded w/ multi-color Rio InTouch Switch Chucker line for "nymphing, " which is basically throwing a clown egg with a ton of weight and a giant indicator.
